Diane, Did a brother, father or male cousin submit a DNA sample to the Family Tree DNA project? I have been corresponding with a gal, Josie Grant up in Ontario whose great grandfather, William Brown, born in NY but went to Canada. Her line is related to my line of Browns. I know we have corresponded with each other as I recognize the Caleb Brown you mentioned. Just wondering if these Browns were the same? Sonja

My brother has submitted a sample to DNA for my William Brown line that came from New York to Ontario Canada. I am not real sure my William was born in New York though. He may have emigrated there from Mass, or Conn. It is just the first place we find the family. I would be interested to hear from Josie Grant to see if we have any names in common in our data base.
