I'm searching for information on William King BROWN and wife Vashti Woodcock PERHAM. William King BROWN was born 16 September 1859 in England. He married 16 September 1880 in England and died 1 June 1941 in Millington, Kendall county, Illinois. He's buried at Millington-Newark Cemetery in Kendall county. His wife was Vashti Woodcock PERHAM (I've also seen it spelled PARHAM, not sure which is correct). She was born 13 October 1859 in England and died 19 October 1937 in Millington, Kendall county, Illinois. She is also buried at Millington-Newark Cemetery. William & Vashti came to the United States in 1883 with their eldest son, Ernest William. I found them enumerated in the 1910 census for Kendall County, Illinois, but haven't been able to locate them in 1900. William's obituary indicated they lived in LaSalle county, Illinois for a time, but I've not found them there. Their son Ernest William was the only child born in England. The rest of their children were Florence, John, James, Bessie, Robert, Anna Marie and Gladys, all born in Illinois, most in Kendall county. Ernest William BROWN was born 8 January 1881 in Whatley, Frome, Somerset, England. He married Sadie Josephine GRAVELY on 2 March 1912 in Kendall County, Illinois. E.W. died 21 August 1970 in Sandwich, DeKalb county, Illinois. He & Sadie are both buried at Millington-Newark Cemetery in Kendall County. Their children were Julia Viola, Elenor Sidell, Mildred Janette, Nancy, Eloise Ann and Doris Mae. ---Juli Risener Morgan
