These are their children and they were all born in GA: 1) Sarah Rich, age 12. This is all the information that we have found on Sarah. 2) James Rich, age 8. This is all the information that we have on him. 3) Lucinda Rich, age 7. She married Harrol H. Hight on September 25, 1859 in Bartow Co. GA. They had eleven children. They moved to ILL and then to MO. She died on June 12, 1922 in New Madrid Co. MO. 4) William Melton Rich, age 4. He married Mary Barilla Wofford on August 22, 1866 in Bartow Co. GA. They had eight children. Mary Barilla Wofford was the daughter of James Wofford and Altha McCracken. (my line) 5) Thomas Rich, age 1. This is all we know about him. We can find no further trace of Tabitha Brown Rich after the 1850 census for Cass Co. GA. Did she die between 1850 and the 1860 census? If so, there were several small minor children, who cared for them. Did she and Archibald have any more children? Does anyone know who the parents of Tabitha Brown are? Is she related to the William Brown who is listed in the 1850 census for Cass Co. GA? I hope someone knows something about the elusive Tabitha Brown.
