My greatgrandfather married Matilda Brown on Feb 19, 1846. She was born Sept 11, 1821 in PA. Her mother was Margaret Brown born 1795 in England. Margaret and family were listed in the 1850 census living in the Southwark district of Philadelphia. Family included Margaret's daughters Eliza, Elivna, Virginia, Fanny and her husband Joseph Shuster and their son William, Matilda and her husband Joseph Quinn and sons George W. Quinn and Robert. No husband to Margaret was listed altho on Matilda's internment record it lists her father as Andrew Jackson Quinn. Because that is obviously a typo I can only assume that the name should be Andrew Jackson Brown. My problem is that I can find no other information prior to 1850 and no info re: Andrew Jackson Brown. Any help out there? Any family? All input would be gratefully accepted. Bob Quinn
