Hi Wanda, Yes, Belle is my husband's Grandmother. Do you have any more info. If you are related I have papers on George in the Civil War. Papers on Mary Ann asking for his pension and letters from their neighbors proving that she was his wife. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wanda Brown" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, April 27, 2007 9:09 AM Subject: Re: [BROWN] George L. Hi to you I have nothing on this George Brown just wanted to help out a fellow searcher, Browns are like sand lots of them. I hoped to find someone else working on the line that perhaps could help you. When mine is not going anywhere I try to help someone else. Sometimes it helps me to get another idea or two for my own research. I do have access to census records through Heritage Quest and Ancestry. Looked him up and found this one that seemed likely. Will look a little more now that I know a little more about the family structure. According to this census his parents were born in Pennsylvania. Good luck in your search.
