Dear List: Am looking for information re John & Harriett BROWN who emigrated to New Zealand from Berkshire on the "Sir Charles Forbes" arriving Nelson on 22 August 1842 with their four children, Sarah (my great-great-grandmother), Mary Ann, Ellen and William. Am particularly interested in Mary Ann and William as I have a lot of info about Sarah and Ellen. Also, I believe there were two other daughters, Eliza and Harriett, but they are not in the 1841 census with the rest of the family (Hamlet of Whitley, Reading, Berkshire.) Did they die? I have tried contacting a lady who has a message and link at the bottom of the "Sir Charles Forbes" passenger list on Denise & Peter's website but my email has bounced.
