The John M. (Jack) Brown in my line was born in S. C., moved to Georgia and then settled in Bradford County, Florida, where he remained for the rest of his life. He died about 1880 as he does not appear on the Florida census. He is buried in Bethany Cemetery. The 1860 Florida census shows JOhn Brown, age 50, born in S. C., and was living in New River, Fla.
