    3. Hello Browns: Are these people familiar to you? Barbara >From The Dresden Times [Ontario] issue of 3 Dec 1903-- "Death of Henry Brown" -- On Friday last, death claimed one of the old and respected citizens of Chatham Township in the person of Henry Brown. He had been ailing for some time from stomach trouble, which was supposed to be the cause of his death. The funeral took place on Sunday last, from his late residence, the service being conducted at the house by Rev. Mr. Taylor, of the Dawn Mills Circuit, and the remains were interred in the Dresden cemetery, the service at the grave being conducted by Rev. S. Bond. The deceased was born in Nova Scotia 74 years ago, and came to Kent County when he was two years old and lived with his parents in the township of Harwich; later the family lived in Sombra township and for the past 18 years, Mr. Brown has lived in Chatham township near Thorncliffe. Beside his wife who is one year his senior, he leaves the following sons and daughters: Albert and George of Camden, Edward and Gilbert of Chatham township, Mrs. Cameron, Lorain Ohio, Mrs. Dixon, Dawn township. A sin! gular incident is the fact that just 22 years ago on the same date, a sister of the deceased passed away. _____________________ Henry A. Brown was born 29 Nov 1829. His wife was Lucy Ann Sales, b. 1828. A friend is someone who knows the song of your heart and sings it back to you when you have forgotten the words. --Unknown author
