I have two grandmothers named Mary Brown!!! One married Jeremiah Claypool(e) The other married Jonas Sparks Descendants from both these grandmothers married into my Linkous Family. Additionally, I have Frances Elizabeth Brown who also married into the Linkous Family! I believe that Fanny's father, James Frank Brown, was related to the Mary Brown who married Jonas Sparks, but have been unable to find the exact connection. I believe the connection exists because they were all in Wilkes County NC and they all died in Tazewell County VA. Don't know if I will ever unravel that mystery! Happy Hunting! I don't have any answers for you, but noted the South to North migration from NC back up to VA. I would think that was somewhat unusual. Though I have come across it once before. That would give me one more reason to think they might be related. Carolyn Brown Don & Sheila <[email protected]> wrote: I have two grandmothers named Mary Brown!!!
