Not sure whether they came over the Cumberland Gap from Virginia or North Carolina. We have looked at all the census records and everything else we can think of and cannot find any concrete evidence of them until they show up in Celina, TN and then they both moved up into KY. Information received from family members says their birth location was either KY, TN or AL. If anyone has two brothers - Henry and Daniel Brown born about 1852 - 1853, we would like to compare notes.
