Sonja, Do you know if the William b. Abt 1830 married an Elizabeth Ann CARTER on 3 Oct 1862? They eventually moved to Monroe Co, MI and I lost them. Elizabeth died 17 Sept 1862 in MI, so more than likely William remarried. I don't know when or where he was born or his parents. I do know that Elizabeth was the daughter of Chauncy and Huldah Isham CARTER of Cayuga Co, NY. Huldah Isham was born in Bristol (formerly known as Pockcock) VT. Her parents were David and Thankful Hooker Isham of VT. This whole group moved to MI before the 1850 census.
