I'm hoping someone out there might be able to shed some light on Olive Brown. Olive Brown was born November 11, 1807 and she died April 24, 1868. She married Silas P. Wood. They were living in Athens, Greene Co. NY in 1850 and 1860. You can see below their family . Olive is buried in the Catskill Village Cemetery. Between 1868 and 1870 - Silas P. Wood remarried - Catherine Rivenburg Brown - the widowed wife of David Brown (David is the son of Josiah Brown and Tryphena Russell - grandson of Zadock Brown and Sarah Monroe - Rensselaerville, Albany Co NY) I'm a relative of the David/Josiah/Zadock Brown family. It's very interesting that Catherine married another Brown. I wish I could find out more about Olive - I have never had any information to indicate she's related to my Brown group - but it's certainly interesting both wives of Silas had a Brown Connecton !?!?!?! ------ Might anyone out there know the parents of Olive Brown.
