I've "rescued" an old gem type photograph album including a number of identified tin type photographs from the 1860's. The album does not have any photographer or location information included so I've no real idea where these folks are from, other than that I purchased the album from an antique dealer in Norfolk, Virginia. The album could have come from anywhere but I'm hoping to be able to locate someone able to identify their family. The identified photographs are: 1. Mattie SIMPSON, appears to be in her 20's or 30's 2. Mrs. BROWN, appears to be in her 20's 3. Mrs. TAYLOR, appears to be in her 50's 4. Bella TAYLOR, appears to be in her teens 5. M. MAYNARD, appears to be a woman in her 20's 6. Nancy HAYNES, appears to be about 12 years 7-10. HAGER Family, four photographs - father in his 50's, mother in her 50's, and two girls about 5-8 years could be twins 11. Mrs. GREEN, appears to be in her 30's 12. Mrs. Ed HENDERSON, appears to be in her 40's or 50's 13. Liz JORDAN, appears to be in her 20's 14. H. S. CHENEY, appears to be a woman in her 30's 15. Liz TURNER, appears to be in her 30's 16. J. MILLER, appears to be a young man in his teens 17. Mat MILLER, appears to be about 6 years 18. Mary KERSHAW, appears to be about 8-12 years There are an additional 16 unidentified photographs in the album as well. If you are able to identify any of these family members or the location that they might be from, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
