Ken: in response to your question, this BROWN's scot line has pretty much daughtered out. While I can trace back to records in Scotland I've hit a brick wall with a possible missed generation in my line, or a second marriage. Such a shame that death records before 1855 age so elusive, now even harder for me as loss of employment means my hoped for travel plans are tossed to a back burner that has no flame under it, so I just keep plugging along occasionally buying credits for the GRO and hopefully will fill the missing voids.
