Nancy you might try the list for the KC Missouri area - the Topeka area (if different than KC - and also Pittsburgh area. Sometimes people in those areas have access to local resources that are valuable. I have had very good luck with certain counties in some regions - places I could never travel. Those people will know for instance if a state's death index is available on line. Have you looked at the family trees on Ancestry - sometimes you can find other people researching the family.
