I've "rescued" an old photograph of Rex Keith BROWN which was taken at the Anderson Studio in Kearney. There is no state indicated, though I believe that the studio is in Kearney, Nebraska. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with Rex likely less than 1 year old at the time. In addition to his name, someone has written "Grandma & Grandpa from" on the back of the photograph indicating that the photograph was a gift to Rex's grandparents. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Rex and his family: Rex BROWN b. 19 May 1909 in Buffalo Co. NE to parents Howard E. BROWN (b. 3 Oct 1884 in Riverdale, NE) and Maud Ethel BOOHER (b. 20 Jan 1889 in Buffalo Co. NE). Rex's parents had 8 children including, Dwight; Rex; Zona Gail; Betty Jane; Milton Dean; Jack Herbert; Joyce Leona; and one additional child who is not named in records. All were born in Buffalo or Union Counties NE between 1907 and 1914. Rex died in Oregon in 1931. I am hoping to locate someone from this BROWN Family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of his family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
