Hello, I am looking for a Charles Brown (e) born in Boston, 1830. Not much is known about him. He sailed to Australia aboard the Wide Awake, departing New York, 1854, as a 20 year old crew member. Arrived in Sydney, Australia, Dec 20 1854. >From his son's birth certificate, Charles Alexander Brown. b 1860, I get the following: Age 30, born Boston, USA; married Barbara Speedie, Sydney 1855. (These records are not indexed). They had 4 children, Leonard Lemeral (1856), Charles Alexander (1860) Charlotte Isobella (1858), and an unnamed infant dieing at 2 weeks. I have tried the IGI index but to no avail, any ideas on where to head for some break through information. Cheers Glen
