I have been looking for elijah barton brown for some time. he was born in 1823 in cayuga county N.Y. His parents were joseph and clarrissa brown. his family came to Mi. some time between 1823 & 1840. recors show that he was married in 1848 to lucinda overacker in wayne county Mi. they lived in ionia county in 1850 per census records. the census shows a john a brown a few lines away i don't know if this a relation or not is there someone out there that knows about these familys?
