    3. Ken, In the 1920 census for Niagara, NY there is a Andrew Brown b. 1838 in Scotland living with a Frank A. Brown. Andrew Brown stated that he was married and immigrated to US in 1853. However, there was no wife listed. When a census taker came, he asked for the people in the household that day. If wife was gone to visit relatives, she would not be named.
