Hello Brown Families! My name is Michele and I live in Ohio. I have a hobby of collecting vintage photos and "papers" of all sorts and I have come across one two names written on the backs of Browns. Karen Brown’s photo back reads “Karen Brown R#4 Owosso (Michigan and when you read further down you’ll find out how I know this) 8 years, 1946 McCall School, 3rd Grade. Jackie Brown’s photo back reads “Jackie Brown R#4, Owosso, 13 years, 1946, 8th Grade” Part of the name “JACKIE” has been cut off but I’m assuming it is Jackie. Also the number 1 in her age of 13 is cut off. I do not have any other information about this photo other than where I got it from and that was Portland Oregon. It came in a "lot" of photos that may or may not be "related" to them.   There are several other photos with the first names only and I will list those for you: Ruth, David, Robert (1945), Patsy and Rita K. "At Green Lake (no year, but same handwriting identifying them as Ruth, David and Robert above), Starr (4) and Jana (5 1/2 mo.) (Sept., 1963), Robert (this looks to be the same Robert that I mentioned with Ruth and David. The handwriting identifying him is the same. Jim, Patsy and Robert again (all children and same handwriting); Diane, 12, Bruce, 10, Trudy, 7, Ricky Lee, 3 1/2, Kimble Marie, 1 year & 3 mo., Tamara Lynn, 3 mo., for Xmas 1956 (not the same handwriting as above); David, Francis, Pat (same handwriting as the Robert photos); Rodolfo, Alfonso, Ano; Patsy (again, same handwriting but different age).   I did see other photos that looked like they could be related to these girls but they have names that are cut off but have the same handwriting and identifying marks. I also came across some photos in the same lot that have first and last names and some dates. Those are: Mrs. Smelser, teacher at Mac Call School 1944, Jean, Dan, Kathy, Peggy, Danny, Liz and Mary Kemper or Kemfer (A Christmas Photo Card, B&W 1956); Maralyn O'Bryant 1950; Zona Zeliske? 7-5-1950; Carol Lee Syltz? 1946 7-8th Owosso, Grade at McCall (Spelled without the "A" as in the teachers photo), Loretta Beyer Route 4, Owosso, Michigan (SO I am assuming that the previous photo that said "Owosso" was also Owosso Michigan, so at least now we know some of these photos came from Michigan.) Audrey Hall (Freshman 1948); Suzanne Lamb 6 years old March 1964; Barbara Conard, 1944, 8th; Carl Lee Shonzer?1944, 5th grade; Bob Craig (freshman); Billy Handy (no other info on him).   The reason I listed all the others out was in case YOU reading this are Jackie or Karen Brown or you knew or know Jackie or Karen Brown and those other names may ring a bell for you.   So that's all the information I have. I hope someone will recognize it.
