This e-mail was sent to me by Mary at balch@mchsi.com. Her e-mail bounced back from the list. This is what she said. I am a Scottish Brown who lives in the US. My Browns came from kintyre Argyll. In the 1800s or so I have 2 great uncles who went to Ohio in the US, I also have some who supposedly went to Australia, I do not have the info on who they were, just family lore. I will be in Scotland in the next month or so and will try and find out some more as my sister has some papers that were left after my parents died, if anything relevant is discovered I will post that info.
