My brickwall is my grandfather, MINOR C. BROWN, b. Dec. 3, 1864, d. May 10, 1901. He is buried in Blackjack Cemetery, Burleson Co., TX. and on his tombstone is M. C. BROWN. I have only found him on one census and that is the 1900 Milam Co., TX one where it shows that he was born in MS in 1864 and also that his parents were born in MS. Wife is listed as Roxie, b. 1879 in MS and son James R. b. 1898 in TX. MINOR married Sarah Roxie Burrough sometime before 1898 and had two children, James R., b. 1898 and Alma, b. 1900. I think MINOR and Roxie lived mostly in and around the Rockdale, Milam Co., TX area. I'm having a hard time finding any information on MINOR as he was only 37 years old when he died and certainly didn't leave much of a paper trail.
