This is for Eugenia: My GGG Grandmother was Rachel Brown, born in 1799 in N.C. She married Joseph D or B. Tate on April 22, 1813 in Davidson Co., Tenn. Joseph was born in 1793/94 in Orange Co., N.C. and died abt. 1858 in Yell Co., Ark. Rachel died on June 22, 1852 in Pope Co., Ark. That is all that I know about Rachel. I have no idea where in N.C. that she was born or how she wound up in Tenn. Do you know if there is a Rachel Brown in the family that you spoke of recently? Jane Little McEndree janemc@airmail.net
