Just found my JAMES BROWN and MARY MILLER in the 1850 and 1860 census in Ohio county VA which became Ohio county WV about 1863. Their children were all born in Ohio Co.: LEWIS CASS 1849, JOSEPH 1851, JAMES 1855, MARY J 1858. Between 1860-1870 they moved to Pike county Illinois where my ggrandfather, Lewis, lived until his death. The father, James, isn't listed in the 1870 census in Illinois, killed in the Civil War? Is anyone researching the Brown's in WV? Will share what I have. Joyce
