Arline, When I saw Paxton MA, I could not help but respond to your letter, as I am looking for Brown descendants of a William Brown who lived at one time in Paxton, MA. He was born in 1827, a son of Captain William and Diadama (Wheeler) Brown. Wm. Jr. was married to a Harriet Bancroft and they had a son named Wesley E. Brown (who was a doctor). Wesley married Susie Hitchcock in Gilbertville, MA in 1880. As a matter of fact, I have a copy of Wesley and Susie's wedding announcement, as well as photos of all the people mentioned above. I cannot get back beyond Captain William (1784-1874) and Diadama (1793-1884); however, I've just come into a treasure trove of old Brown photos and am trying to identify the ones without ID's. If anyone connected to these Browns would contact me, I would be happy to share information and photos and hopefully ID ones that are to date nameless faces. Thank you. Barbara Benware Burt at bburt001@NYCAP.rr.com In the new year will post entire list of William and Diadama's children, as they had a large family with many of the children migrating to other places.
