ROBERT BROWN b ca 1780 of MD, probably Frederick Co or nearby. Reportedly went "west" to PA then OH in about 1815. Where was ROBERT from? Was he the ROBERT BROWN b 1779 (MD), living in Perry County OH, 1850 Census, Monroe Twp, with wife SARAH? Robert's son LLOYD BROWN lived a time in Muskingum County OH, married to a Perry County OH girl, SARAH (SALLY) PARGIN. Then LLOYD moved into Indiana. Known ch were ELIAS, ANDERSON, OBADIAH, ELIJAH, REBECCA, SARAH, and CATHERINE BROWN. Father ROBERT had a son HENRY, and probably another son ELIAS, who was living on the same farm with a young family in 1850. They were all gone in 1860. HENRY moved, I think, to Cincinnati and was killed in the Civil War. Where ROBERT, ELIAS and their families went I don't know. Was this the ROBERT who had brothers DAVID and WILLIAM, of Fairfield Co?
