    1. [BROWN] Ephraim Brown -- Georgia
    2. Hi List, Just passing along this information: There is an Ephraim Brown listed as a Coroner in Jackson County, Georgia from 1828-1830. I don't think this is my ancestor. I believe mine remained in Hall County, Georgia. Record is from the book Historical Notes on Jackson County, Georgia by Frary Elrod, on pg. 55. There is an Ephraim Brown on the 1830 census for Jackson County, Georgia. Again, not my ancestor. (Pg. 339) Film is very difficult to read so I am leery to interpret data. I think is lists 2 males 15 5o 20 years old and 1 male 20 to 30 years old as well as another male either 50 to 60 or 60 to 70. One female 20 to 30 and another female 60 to 70 so last male is probably 60 to 70 as well. There is also an Ephraim Brown listed on the 1820 Gwinnett County, Georgia census. Again, not my ancestor. (Pg. 274). [Gwinnett County, Jackson County, and Hall County, Georgia are all near one another. I'm searching for the parents of my Ephraim Brown of Hall County.] This film is very difficult to read as well. There is an Ephraim Brown and Elizabeth Teulon listed on pg. 15 of the book Abbeville Marriages 1780 - 1879 by Barbara R. Langdon. I believe this is SC. >From Early Records of Georgia Vol. I & II by Grace Gillan Davidson, pg. 329, there is an Ephraim Brown listed marrying Betsy Moss on Sept. 30, 1792, in Wilkes County, GA. I don't think this is my ancestor. Just sharing information. Carla Brown Fisher cfisher110@aol.com
