I am trying to find anything about the parents of Daniel Brown b.1823 in IL d.1854 possibly in IL. Daniel and Minerva Jane Bolles were married 1846 in Hardin County, Ky(or poss. Bowling Green, KY). Daniel and Minerva are in the 1850 census for Montgomery County IL with one son Rubin age 2. Minerva's family is listed on the lines above them. In 1861, Minerva is in Laclede County MO, a widow with three sons. Her family is also in Laclede County at this time . In 1862, Minerva marries Francis Marion Atchley who lives in Laclede County but they go to Jefferson County IL to get married. Why? Is this where Daniel died or had they lived there?
