Apr Term 1802. There are two land transactions by William TAITT & William STOTHART on June 17, 1802 and June 18, 1802 which do not mention BROWN . On July 1802 William TAITT and William STOTHART in a long indenture (they had entered into a copartnership in the mercantile business in Nashville and appeared to have amassed quite a bit of land from different people. Some of this property was from the heirs of John BROWN and many others. Unfortunately the heirs of John BROWN were not named. There may be more things in this book pertaining to these people that I missed. Good luck on your search. Thus far I see no connection with these BROWNS and mine.
