Ok my earliest known Browns was Samuel Brown from SC in 1790's. He had several sons who all moved with him to MO were they started branching out. Wilson who is my GGGGpa was in St. Francois MO until 1830 when hemoved to AR. Wilson had a Bother i beleive William who moved on down to TX. Wilsons son Solomon was in the Civil War but registered in MO instead of AR. Solomon was married to Cathrine Grinder. Solomon died in the Civil War and Catherine died in 1872 in Tomahawk Township, Searcy CO., AR. Solomon and Catherine had one son Samuel who stayed in Searcy Co., until 1900 then finally moved west to KS. Samuel was married several times. First wife was Sarah (Sally) STILLS they had one child together, Thomas who is my Grandfather. Thomas married three times, first wife was Tempie Reeves they had one child James Washington Brown (washy for short). Second wife was Parlee Eoff they lived in ARKansas until 1925 when they moved to OK. My father Lonnie Brown was bron in Poteau, Pittsburg CO., OK in 1926. Well that is it folks.
