My ggrandfather William C. Brown brought his family over from Scotland to Wilmington, DE in 1890. He was a blacksmith and his spouse was Elizabeth or Eliza Galbraith. The children are listed below: Jane b: 1882 Elizabeth or Eliza b: 1884 - married Irwin A. Higgins - d: 1961 David B: 1886 - d: 1914 or 1915 Maggie or Margaret b: 1888 Alexander b:1890 - d: 1914 or 1915 Still trying to find out where in Scotland my Browns originated and what happen to Jane, Maggie or Margaret, David and Alexander. The above information came from the 1900 Census for Wilmington DE and the date of deaths came from a family cemetry grave stone.
