His father, Joseph, was the son of Ephraim and Rachel (Philbrick) Brown. Joseph was born 6 Aug 1702, Salisbury, MA and he married Rachel on 1 Oct 1723 in Haverhill, MA. Rachel Philbrick was Christened 28 Mar 1704, Newcastle, NH. I do not know where or when Ephraim of Rachel died. Priscilla Gage was born 19 Aug 1734, Bradford, MA. She was the daughter of Ebenezer and Priscilla (Kimball) Gage. Ephraim was born 17 Sep 1703, Bradford, MA. He married Priscilla Kimball on 7 Nov 1728, Bradford, MA.
