James BROWN, b. 1785, Rockbridge County, VA. Don't know his parents or siblings, but family tradition says they moved to TN. James married 1st wife (name unknown- of course this is the one my husband is descended from!) and had a son in Blount, TN. In 1825 he married 2nd, Anna (Helen?) KELLY. The lived in McMinn & Obion Counties in TN before living a few years in Murray County, GA. In 1845 they were in DeKalb County, AL. James died in 1876 in DeKalb Couny, AL. Has anyone found James' parents names or that of his 1st wife?
