I just had to respond to John's email to the list and to Wanda. I have to definitely agree with John that we run into jerks and self centered people on a daily basis in all walks of life. But try to keep an open mind and remember all those people who are so helpful in our genealogy research. I belong to a great number of lists and have been helped by so many. In fact yesterday a woman replied to my request for help in locating my grandfather's grave in Florida. I had his dates of birth and death and a general idea of where he was buried. Someone sent me a list of my family buried in a cemetery in Florida...it included my grandfather and several other members of my family. It was almost an anonymous reply as all the lady did was state the information and the source. So, keep your chin up there are lots of "Genealogy Angels" out there.
