This is one of the better lists I know of and have been help many time by it's members. I however, like you, have come a crossed a jerk or two who want a lot of info from others but will not share what they have. These jerks are not only on this list but are in all areas of life. I have work hours trying to help people only to have them say when I asked a simple question, "You can read that in my book when it's finished" or "Sorry I really don't have time to help you" or "I don't give out information on my family tree" Please don't let a few bad apples sour you on this list or the great field of Genealogy.
