Hi Mary and Brown list, I went searching in the LDS site (www.familysearch.org) the other day, trying to find if anyone submitted anything on my Browns. I found that this information in the Ancestral File (not guaranteed correct!!): Benjamin Brown (b. ~ 1765, PA, died 1795, Nelson Co., KY) and wife, Elizabeth Ross were listed with 9 children. One was a son John Brown, b. about 1787, who married Anna Cotton. Just looking at the record, I can see some inconsistencies (4 children born before marriage date??). But perhaps it is a lead....
