    1. [BROWN] Re: BROWN-D Digest V00 #242
    2. Hi List, Just found my Brown's after many dead-ends. It's no wonder as the family history & new found documentation tell why. The dates are 3 years & 3 months off, from dates my Grandfather used. This is what I've found: 1900 Census; BROWN, John M. b. April 1856, Mo., father Mo., mother Ohio, farmer wife, Harriet b. May 1958, Mo., father Va., mother, Va., mail carrier son, Frank b. Dec. 1978, Mo., father Mo., mother Tn., day labor son, William(my Grandfather) b. Sept. 1880 , Mo., father Mo., mother Tn. (used Dec. 1883 & name used, William Franklin Brown) , day labor son, James b. May 1883, Mo., father Mo., mother Tn., at school This was the boys step-mother. Was told birth mother died when Grpa was 9 yrs. old & her name was Mary ? Any help on this line would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, B.J. in Mo.
