Hi list! I am praying someone on this list can help me. My brick wall is my gggrandfather Leonard Sandford BROWN b. 1837 Ky d. 1929 In. The 1880 Clark Co. IN census says that he and his parents were all born in Ky. Clark Co. is right across the Ohio river from Ky. I have no idea who his parents are. That is what I need to know. The original records of any kind were lost in the 1937 flood of the Ohio river.Leonard m. Polly Ann RIPPY on June 18 1863 in Clark Co. IN. Polly Ann's family is from Sumner Co. Tenn. They moved to Clark Co. about a year before Polly was born in1842. They raised their family in Borden, Clark Co. IN and are buried at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Borden IN. Their children are John S., Mariah E., Nancy A., Abigill, Millburn, Lafayette, Adeline and Liza E. I haven't a clue how else to look for him. Can anyone help me? Thanks! Marcia
