I'm new to this list, but I've been looking for my GGGrandmother, Sarah Ann BROWN for a long time. The first documented evidence of her is her marriage certificate, where she married my GGGrandfather, John Thomas RENEW on 9 April 1844 in Dooly Co, Ga. They had gotten their license the previous day, 8 April 1844, in Pulaski Co, Ga. Our family oral history says that Sarah Ann was born about 1826 along the Savannah River, either in South Carolina or Georgia. She was a Native American Woman. Most likely, Creek. I'm hoping to find her parents and siblings. Thanks.....Jim ______________________________ ------------------------------ X-Message: #4 Date: Wed, 20 Sep 2000 07:43:52 -0700 (PDT) From: Debra Felix <dsfelix@yahoo.com> To: BROWN-L@rootsweb.com Message-ID: <20000920144352.22920.qmail@web803.mail.yahoo.com> Subject: [BROWN] Henry BROWN-SC Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Hi everyone, I met a woman at the Family History Center here in Spring TX, she is looking for anyone who can help her find more on this family.
