Hi I am looking for information on my 3rd great-grandfather Ezekial BROWN born ABT. 1820 according to the census he was born in KY, married Susannah KEYS or KEES born ABT. 1833 in NC. I am not certain but this may be a 2nd marriage. I found the family living in Johnson Co. Tennessee in 1870. The children listed with Ezekial and Susannah are: Daniel born ABT. 1856, Wesley born ABT. 1860, Samuel Born ABT. 1862 Ambrose born ABT. 1866, Elizabeth born ABT. 1867, and America born ABT. 1869. Samuel BROWN married Almedia PHILLIPS they both lived in Watauga Co., NC. The following names and dates are taken from the 1910 Watauga Co., NC Census: Samuel Brown August 1863 Almedia Phillips (Wife) April 1868 (died around 1900) Nora (Daughter) Born 1894 (married Willard Guy) Calvin A. (Son) Born Dec. 1887 (died around 1903 from TB) Margaret ( Daughter) Born 1889 Laura E. July (Daughter) 1892 (married Barney Oakes) George (Son) June 1899 My grandmother has a photo of the family that was taken soon after Almedia died.
