    3. Hi, Marietta What dates/location for your Henry Brown do you have? My ancestor, George Browne (family dropped the "e" with George's children) had a son Henry who lived in Frederick Co., MD (b. 1741; d. 1827). For this Henry in my line, I have 7 children listed, although there might have been more. Here's what I have. (Ignore the numbers after the names; I didn't have time this a.m. to remove them, just cut/pasted from my genealogy software.) Hope it helps. In 1818, he sold to the Westminster, Taneytown,and Emmittsburg Turnpike Company 75 1/2 square perches of "Brown's Plague Resurveyed", but reserved the right for hims elf, his family, and his devisees forever, of free passage through the toll-gate erected on t his tract (Fred.
