    3. I have 2 Brown families I am working on. Family #1 The first is my ggg grandmother, Amanda Brown. She married Richmond Pearson. I am hoping to find anyone who has a match to this family. This is what I know so far... Richmond Pearson born Sept. 21, 1821 in Virginia (but I don't know where) and married Amanda Brown Pearson born May 5, 1844. There were 9 children born of this union: John Erastus - May 24, 1865 born in Bedford county, TN Bettie Elizabeth - Feb. 14, 1868 Mary Alice - Aug. 3, 1869 Callie - July 27, 1870 Kitty - Feb. 12, 1872 Jennie Sarah - Jan 4, 1874 Octie - July 3, 1876 Sally - May 4, 1878 Musie Francis - Jan. 11, 1885 All of these children were born in Tennessee. Family #2 My great, great, grandmother was Margaret "Maggie" Brown b. 1871 in TN. Married in 1885 in Bedford county, TN to John Erastus Pearson (above). She died in 1943 in Tarrant county, TX. Her father was William Brown and she had 6 other siblings. One brother was named Oscar, another named William Henry. Maggie and John had the following children: John Erastus Jr. b. 1888 W Ellis b. 1891 Fanny b. 1894 Ivy Watson b. 1896 Clifford b. 1900 Pauline Lou b. 1903 Charles Allen b. 1909 In the mid 1890's John and Maggie came to Texas and settled Greenville, Hunt County. In 1898, they moved their family to Matagorda county, TX. At that time, Maggie's brother, Oscar was also with them. After the hurricane of 1900 hit Galveston, the family moved to the Oklahoma Indian Territory and settled near Marlow in Stephens county. In 1903, the family again moved to Tarrant county, Texas to settle in Keller. Pearson Lane in Keller is named for this family. Please contact me at dparker@airmail.net if you are researching either of these families.. Thanks, Karen Parker Coppell, TX
