My brick wall is Jehu Brown b. 8/19/1824 in Green County Illinois. Son of Joseph and Mary Brown of Welsh descent. He married Martha A. Mitchell 4/26/1849 in Macoupin County Illinois. The family (8 or 11) children moved to Navarro County Texas in 1874. Story goes that one female child stayed behind in Illinois.
