My Nathaniel was born about 1802 in Tennessee and married Alice (Alcy) Anglin. Do you think that, because Brown is such a common name, any given name is likely to occur frequently? Or do you think there might be some family connection among these southeastern Browns? By the way, there is another, older, Nathaniel Brown in Tennessee in the early 1800s, in Lincoln County.
