Dear Readers Who are my Grandfather Wm Thomas Brown's Parents? Story #1 It has been suggested that Caroline Brown, dau. of Brinkley Brown and Sarah Cobb Brown, had him out of wedlock and the father being Asa Williams who married Caroline's sister, Susan Brown. There are no Bastard Bond records at the Dooly County Ga Courthouse, but there was a fire in the Dooly Court House in the late 1840's, which may account for no record. Wm T Brown was born between 1840-1842. Caroline Brown m- John Smith Oct 26, 1843, Caroline Smith m-John Berryhill Aug 8, 1854 Story #2 Below, William R. Brown had a son William age 10, this may be William T Brown, but no middle name is given.
