Looking for John Brown is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but I decided to just keep posting and looking until I can uncover something. Here goes: John Soloman Brown, Sr. born abt. 1797 in North Carolina. He married a Temperance ??? probably in North Carolina. She was born there abt. 1793. They had atleast the following children: Charles born abt. 1820, John Soloman, Jr. born abt 1826, James born abt. 1831 and Margaret born abt. 1833, all in North Carolina. By 1842 the families are in Union County, GA. John Soloman Brown, Jr. marries Sarah Twiggs in 1843, Charles Brown marries Ann Twiggs in 1842. The majority of the family stays in Fannin County. I would like help in finding out more about John Soloman Brown, Sr. and where he and Temperance married. He remarries in 1869 in Fannin County, GA to an Evarilla (Riller) Pitman. I can find, Charles, John Sr. and James through the 1870 Fannin County Census. Not sure if John Brown, Jr. died in the Civil War or sometime later, I can find Sarah Twiggs Brown through 1880 in Union Co., GA. Any small piece of information would be greatly appreciated.
