    3. Barbara, my John (Jr.) and wife Sarah... lived in Windsor MA (Berkshire co.) where their children were born. I am descended from Willard, one of the youngest. The birth records can be found in church records of Windsor MA that are online. I have written to Berkshire co. historical assn. and learned that possibly the family moved to NY or OH. I know for certain that Willard married Betsey Boardman in Gorham NY, (Ontario co.) Source: Boardman book. I know that there are 11,000 John Browns listed but time to sift through the list is not available to me. Maybe someday, I'll get a long vacation to do it. Marilyn

    3. The BROWN family I have just started researching is also found first in MA (from Ayre, Scotland). In 1900 I find the widowed wife, Agnes Kennedy Brown, in Ware. I know she had 12 children but I don't have the whole list of names yet. William Kennedy BROWN moved to New York. My mother-in-law says she has the names of the children, so I need to ask her again. I know there was a brother Huigh and a sister Grace.
