All I know about him is that he was from Texas,moved to Izard Co.,Ar.around 1880,married Mary Damron,had a daughter,Lee Etta b.8-12-1882,then disappeared.They don't think he ran off(he didn't take anything with him)but that he was killed by bushwackers. It's a long shot but I'm interested in any John Lewis Brown from Texas who moved to Arkansas about this time. I don't believe he is related to other Browns in Izard Co.,Ar.
