Serilda RITTER there children were : Oma b.1874 ,Coquessa Jane b.1877, Abner b.1879 ,Felix b.1882 ,Leona b.1888,Newbern b.1899. All these children were born in Missouri in and around Stone Co. Does anyone recognize any of these people . Now to the puzzle, I have been told Serilda had read a book and saw the name Coquessa,this is supposed to be how my grandmother was named. My grandmother hated the name , said she wouldn't name a dog that. Its funny how some people don't like there given names. I think it is a verry pretty name.And a verry unique name.Does anyone know of a book with this name or have you ever heard it before ? Pronounced cokwesa . Thanks for any help you might give.
