David Reside BROWN born Abt. 1795 Of West Kilbride, Ayr, Scotland; spouse Mary Ann CAMERON. David died 13 Jan 1886. They had at least one child: Robert BROWN born Abt Oct 1830 Kilbride, Scotland; spouse Janet DARROGH? or DARROCH. Janet was born about 1826 and died 28 Jul 1899 in Ontario. Robert died 7 Mar 1913 in Ontario (I believe this is where he and Janet died). Robert and Janet had 9 known children. The eldest two were born in Scotland, the rest were born in Ontario, Canada: 1. Mary (born about 1854 in Scotland) 2. James John Edward (born 7 May 1855 in Scotland; died 15 Sep 1934, buried in Hamilton, ON) 3. Hugh Reside (born 19 Jan 1857 in Minto twp. Wellington Co., ON; died 12 Dec 1939 in Toronto, ON) 4. Robert David (born 29 Sep 1859 in Palmerston, ON; died abt May 1944 in Stephenson Twp., Muskoka Dist., ON) 5. William E. (born 4 May 1861 in Minto twp. Wellington Co., ON; died Nov 1945 in Port Sydney, Stephenson Twp., Muskoka Dist., ON) 6. Janet (born about 1863) 7. Archibald (born 18 Nov 1864 in Minto twp. Wellington Co., ON; died 3 Mar 1943 in Port McNicoll, Tay Twp., Simcoe Co., ON) 8. Catherine "Kate" Anne (born 18 May 1866) 9. Margaret Emma (born Abt 1868) I have a few spouses for the above children and Hugh Reside BROWN is my great-great-grandfather. I'd love to hear from you if you think there might be a connection.
